When Govinda Told Sunita To Be ‘Prepared’ for His Second Marriage:

Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in the spotlight recently, with speculation swirling about trouble in their marriage. The couple, who have been together for 37 years, were at the center of divorce rumors after reports surfaced that Sunita had filed for separation.

Amid the controversy, an old interview from 1990 has resurfaced, where Govinda himself admitted that his horoscope predicted a second marriage.

In a 1990 interview with Stardust Magazine, Govinda openly shared that his birth chart indicated he would marry twice.

Speaking about his future and relationships, Govinda said:

“Tomorrow, who knows, I may get involved again, and maybe I will marry the girl I get involved with. But Sunita should be prepared for it. Only then will I feel free. And there is a second marriage in my kundali.”

He also admitted his love for actress Neelam Kothari but ultimately married Sunita because he had already given her his word.

During the same interview, Govinda praised his leading ladies, Juhi Chawla and Divya Bharti, saying he was deeply fond of both actresses.

On Divya Bharti, who was just 17 at the time, Govinda remarked:

“Divya is a very sensuous girl. It’s difficult for a man to resist her. I know Sunita is going to be very upset with all this. But she should know that I am still resisting Divya’s charms. I haven’t given in to temptation yet.”

His candid comments at the time stirred controversy, and with the current divorce rumors, they are once again making waves.

Govinda’s Lawyer Confirms Divorce Filing But Says All Is Well

Govinda’s lawyer has acknowledged that Sunita Ahuja did file for divorce six months ago but insists the couple has since reconciled.

They recently traveled to Nepal and performed a puja together at Pashupatinath Mandir during the New Year.
“Everything is fine between them now. Such things keep happening between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together,” he told India Today.
