PM Modi Meets Indian Olympic Athletes: Paris Olympics 2024 is over and all the Indian players who participated in this tournament have returned home. These players who brought pride to the country were invited to the event held at the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day. The Prime Minister also received many gifts during this meeting. Manu Bhaker, who won two medals for the country in shooting, has gifted an air pistol to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The star shooter was seen having a fun conversation with the Prime Minister, while both of them posed for a photo smiling. Apart from this, the Indian hockey team presented the Prime Minister with a hockey stick along with a jersey signed by all the players. It is noteworthy that the men's hockey team won the second consecutive bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.

Neeraj Chopra and PV Sindhu were not seen

Javelin throw star Neeraj Chopra and star shuttler PV Sindhu did not attend the event at PM Modi's residence. Neeraj won his second consecutive Olympic medal by winning a silver medal in javelin throw in Paris. Sindhu, on the other hand, missed out on a historic hat-trick of medals after losing in the Round of 16.
