Panipat. Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia said on Wednesday that his party will do 'anything' to defeat the BJP, even join hands with the Congress in the Haryana assembly elections. Sisodia, a former Delhi deputy chief minister who is campaigning for the party in Haryana, said the alliance with the Congress will be finalized after the party's national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal comes out of jail. Leaders of the two parties have already held two rounds of talks on seat sharing in Haryana. The state is going to have assembly elections on October 5.

Former Delhi CM Manish Sisodia said at the Badlaav rally in Samalkha assembly that the central government put Kejriwal and him in jail due to political animosity. Speaking on the alliance with Congress, Sisodia said that Arvind Kejriwal is coming out of jail in a day or two. A decision will be taken only after he comes out. Kejriwal is currently in judicial custody in Tihar jail in connection with the excise policy case. His bail application is going to be heard in the Supreme Court on Thursday.

Sisodia said that people in Haryana want to change after seeing Kejriwal's policies for good education, good medical facilities, unemployment, and the safety of women. People are showing resentment towards the present government and Aam Aadmi Party is getting full support. People of Haryana are praying for Kejriwal and me by reciting Hanuman Chalisa. The people of Haryana are keeping their trust in Kejriwal.

AAP sources say that the party has asked for nine seats while Congress is ready to give seven seats. Sisodia said that BJP has 'betrayed' the people of Haryana during its 10-year rule. However, when AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh was asked about his party's alliance with Congress, he said, 'It would be too early to say anything now.' He said, 'It would be too early to say anything now. It is media speculation whether we will contest on nine seats or ten seats. The final decision will be taken after talks and you will be informed about it.'
