There is good news for the youth of Haryana. Haryana Police has made a big announcement for the recruitment of constable posts today. Before the announcement of the assembly elections, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released a notification for the new Haryana Police Constable Recruitment in the afternoon. According to this, 5,600 vacancies have been released for the posts of constable, of which 4,000 posts are for male GD constables and 600 posts are for female GD constables. At the same time, there are 1000 posts for India Reserve Battalion which are only for men.

When will the exam start? 

Let us tell you that the online application process for the new constable recruitment will start on 10 September 2024. The last date to apply is 24 September 2024. 600 posts of Women Constable (General Duty)

Non-ESM ESP: General – 258, SC – 108, BCB – 48, BCA – 84, EWS – 18, ESM General – 42, ESM BCA – 12, ESM SC – 12, ESM BCB – 18 posts

1000 posts of Male Constable (India Reserve Battalion)

Non-ESM ESP: General – 360, SC – 180, BCB – 80, BCA – 140, EWS – 100, ESM General – 70, ESM BCA – 20, ESM SC – 20, ESM BCB – 30 posts

Qualification

The candidate applying for this recruitment must be a 12th pass. Also, it is mandatory to have studied either Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in class 10th.

Age Limit

The age of the candidates applying should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as of 1st September 2024. Also, candidates belonging to the reserved category who are natives of Haryana will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the state government. At the same time, EWS, SC, and backward class candidates will also get 5 years of relaxation in the maximum age limit.

Selection Process 

Based on CET, candidates will be shortlisted for physical tests. After this, candidates will be called for the Common Eligibility Test (Knowledge Test). Let us tell you that the knowledge test will get 94.5 percent weightage, those who have an NCC certificate will get 3 extra marks.

Physical Test 

In the physical test, men will have to run 2.5 km in 12 minutes and women will have to run 1 km in 6 minutes.
