PM Modi said on Twitter that 'Had a wonderful conversation with my friend, President Donald Trump, and congratulated him on his great victory. Looking forward to working together once again to further strengthen India-US relations in technology, defense, energy, space and many other areas.' According to sources, PM Modi called Trump after the victory in the US elections. PM Modi congratulated President Trump on the decisive victory and excellent performance of the Republican Party in the Congress elections.

According to sources, both the leaders talked about working together for world peace. President Trump said that 'the whole world loves PM Modi. He said that India is a great country and PM Modi is a great person.' Donald Trump told PM Modi that he considers him and India as his true friends. He said that PM Modi was one of the first world leaders he talked to after his victory.

Donald Trump will visit India as US President next year. In fact, the Quad Leaders Summit is to be held in India in the year 2025, in which Trump will come to India to participate. Apart from this conference, there has been a tradition of meeting the heads of member countries (India, America, Australia and Japan). In such a situation, it is believed that he will have a special meeting with PM Modi.
