New Delhi. Comedian Kunal Kamra is a very popular name among the youth. He is quite popular among a section of the society for his alleged anti-establishment jokes. He is also very active on X (formerly Twitter). Last year, he had several sharp exchanges with Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal on this microblogging site. He had targeted the quality and after-sales service of the company's scooters, due to which there was a fierce argument between Aggarwal and Kamra. He has ended last year and started this year in a similar fashion.
On the night of 31 December 2024, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa tweeted about how many orders are on the way at that time. He also wrote in this tweet that this is preparation for the after party. Regarding the figures given by Dhindsa, Kunal Kamra wrote that you should also tell what is the average income of your delivery partners?
What is the matter
Albinder tweeted, "1,22,356 condoms, 45,532 water bottles, 22,322 Party Smarts and 2434 Eno are on the way. This is preparation for the after party." Regarding this tweet, Kamra wrote, "Can you also tell how much average salary you gave to your 'delivery partners' in 2024." Let us tell you that companies like Blinkit, Zomato and Swiggy do not consider their delivery workers as their employees and hence call them delivery partners.
First tweet of 2025
Kunal Kamra also made his first tweet in this regard on the morning of 1 January 2025. He wrote, “While enjoying the facilities of quick commerce, my first tweet of 2025 is on its dark side. These platforms are exploiting gigworkers and they are not job creators. These people are landlords without land. They do not have even a trace of creativity and innovation. They are exploiting people (gig workers) and paying them such salaries which will never fulfill their desires. These are thugs who are using data like oil but are not paying anyone for the oilfield. One day a rule will be made which will tighten their reins.”
