These products were specially designed for businesses that require surveillance and KYC verification.

Although initially, some judges were skeptical about their idea, Ashneer Grover and Piyush Bansal finalized the deal with them. The founders initially asked for one percent equity in exchange for Rs 35 lakh. But after negotiations, Ashneer and Piyush took a 10 percent stake in exchange for Rs 1 crore. This means that the value of the company at that time was around Rs 10 crore.

Three years later
, Proxy has seen tremendous growth and today its valuation has reached Rs 400 crore. “Shark Tank has made us what we are today,” founder Pulkit Ahuja said in the show’s promo. However, it is not clear if Ashneer Grover and Piyush Bansal are still associated with the company.
