After taking a surprise inspection on December 2024 at multiple schools across India, Cbse issued show notices to 29 schools. The inspection that took place on the 18th and the 19th of December’s purpose was to check if the schools were compliant with the CBSE association policies and rules regarding affiliation.

December 18th saw schools in Delhi, Bangalore, Bihar, Varanasi, and Gujarat put under inspection. The rest of the schools got checked on December 19th. The reports that garnered CBSE’s interest led them to discover numerous breaches and violations by a lot of schools in India.

Areas where CBSE found a lot of schools in breach include:

Discrepancies in Enrollment Reports: In a number of schools students were enrolled without actually making an appearance, this condoned the idea of non attending enrollments.

Violations of Academic and Non Academic provisions: Quite a few schools were discovered to breach infra and academic limits imposed by Cbse.

In light of the breaches, all 29 schools received notices which require an explanation of the violations within a 30 day time period.

"CBSE saidthatIt Is working efficiently towards all the schools.The board has issued the notices to 29 schools.Knowingly or unknowingly all the schools have received the respective inspection report and answered within a set of thirty days.
The Board added,”The set regulations must always be followed otherwise consequences will follow. Our culture will nurture high standards in education and any violations will result in action taken by the board"
