Acclaimed filmmaker Shoojit Sircar has joined hands with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, but not for a movie—this time, it’s for a commercial! Known for his unique storytelling, Shoojit expressed his excitement about working with SRK on this latest project.

Speaking to News18, the director shared:

“Filming with SRK is always a pleasure. We had fun. He looked fabulous and absolutely fit. He didn’t leave the set for almost eight hours. We shot it in one stretch. I told him I had the opportunity to release one of his coffee table books in Kolkata. He was very happy, and we spoke about it.”

A behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot recently went viral, showing Shah Rukh Khan in an apron in a kitchen setup. This immediately sparked rumors among fans, with many wondering if the director-actor duo was secretly working on a film.

Meanwhile, in a major update, the Khan family will be temporarily moving out of their iconic residence, Mannat, as the mansion is set to undergo a long-awaited renovation later this year.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the expansion and refurbishment work on Mannat will begin in May 2024. During this period, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and their children—Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam—will shift to an upscale residence in Bandra’s Pali Hill.

Reports suggest that SRK has leased multiple floors in an elite residential tower owned by veteran producer Vashu Bhagnani. The arrangement includes:

Four leased floors for the Khan family, security team, household staff, and office space
Rent: ₹24 lakh per month
Estimated renovation time: Up to two years

This marks a significant upgrade for Mannat, which has long been one of Bollywood’s most famous celebrity homes.
