The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced an increase in vacancies for the SSC MTS and Havildar Recruitment 2024. The number of posts has now been raised from 9,583 to 11,518, marking an increase of 1,935 positions.
This change significantly impacts Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment, which was earlier set at 6,144 posts but has now increased to 9,079 vacancies. However, there has been no change in the number of Havildar posts, which remain at 3,439 vacancies.

The MTS recruitment is set to be conducted across various central government ministries and departments, whereas Havildar positions will be filled in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes (CBIC) and the Central Bureau of Narcotics.

SSC MTS 2024 Exam Pattern and Cutoff Details

- The final merit list will be prepared based on normalized raw scores.
