Terrorist Encounter: Large-scale encounters with terrorists are continuing in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the latest information, the army has killed two terrorists in the Larnu area of Kokernag in Anantnag. On 02 November 2024, suspicious activity was observed near Halkan Gali and was challenged by alert troops, as a result of which, the terrorists started indiscriminate firing on our own squad. Our troops retaliated effectively, resulting in the killing of two terrorists. The operation is ongoing.'

Army officials said that an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
