The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released bumper vacancies for medical students. The board has issued a notification for recruitment to 1376 posts under the paramedical category. According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will start on August 17 and will continue till September 16, 2024. Remember that after the application starts, candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website of Railways www.indianrailways.gov.in .

What is the qualification required?

Candidates should note that to participate in this recruitment, they should have a 12th/Degree/Diploma, etc. in the relevant field from any recognized school/university/institute. Also, the minimum age should not be more than 18 to 22 and the maximum age should not be more than 33 to 40 years as per the post. Candidates must check the notification issued for the details of eligibility and criteria related to this recruitment.

To join this recruitment, candidates will be able to apply only through online mode, applications through any other medium will not be accepted. Along with filling out the application form, you must deposit the prescribed fee, only then your application will be accepted.

How much will the fee be?

To participate in this recruitment, candidates of general and OBC categories will have to deposit Rs 500 as a fee. Whereas, SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/PwBD/Transgender candidates will have to deposit Rs 250.

This is how the selection will be done

To get selected for this recruitment, candidates will have to take a Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates who will pass this exam will have to go through medical tests and document verification. Candidates who pass all the stages will be selected for the vacant posts.
