Even today, hundreds of junior doctors are protesting outside the hospital in the hope of justice. On their appeal, people switched off the lights of their homes at midnight on Wednesday. She said, “The hospital took away one of my daughters by doing RG, but today I have got lakhs of sons and daughters. It has made me very strong. I want justice. Just like I don't get sleep every day, every night, I want the same to happen to the culprits.” On the appeal of the junior doctors, the governor also ordered a blackout. There was a complete blackout in the Raj Bhavan from 9-10 pm. The protest was expressed by lighting candles. BJP leaders joined the protest by holding the tricolor. BJP state president Sukanto Majumdar said, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is protecting the accused. Kapil Sibal is being brought to the forefront so that the accused can be saved. He is also an accused in this entire case. He should also be investigated.

Not just at RG Kar, people protested in almost all the markets of Kolkata. The lights of the shops were switched off. The lights of the houses were switched off. At many places, people raised slogans of 'Give justice to the daughter'. The same scene was seen from the bus stand to the railway station. Governor Dr. CV Anand Bose directed the Chief Minister to take care of the feelings of the people of Bengal who are angry with the RG Kar incident and take concrete steps for the safety of women. Because now it is enough. Immediate action should be taken to prevent such incidents in the future. The culprits should not be spared.
