Actually, Shiv Sena (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray was checked by the employees of the Election Commission. During this, as soon as Uddhav Thackeray's helicopter landed in the Ausa assembly constituency of Osmanabad, the Election Commission team reached there and checked it. Earlier on Monday, Thackeray's bag was checked in Yavatmal district.
Apart from this, the bag of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was checked at the airport. BJP itself shared its video on its X account. BJP said that Devendra Fadnavis' bag was checked in Yavatmal district on November 7. Today, the bag and helicopter of the state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde were checked in Palghar district. A video of the checking of his bag also went viral. Only 3 pairs of white clothes were seen in his bag.
Not only this, Nationalist Congress Party chief Ajit Pawar has also shared a video of checking the bag on his X account. He has written that 'Today, while going for the election campaign, the Election Commission conducted a routine check of my bag and helicopter. I cooperated fully and I believe that such measures are necessary to ensure free and fair elections. Let us all respect the law and support the efforts to maintain the integrity of our democracy.'
Apart from this, the helicopter of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari was also checked in Latur. It is being told that he had reached Latur to attend an election program. During this, his helicopter was searched. Voting will be held on November 20 for a total of 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra and the results will be announced on November 23.
