Himachal Police Police Constable Bharti 2024: After Uttarakhand, bumper recruitment of police constables has come out in another state. Now Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has released recruitment for 1088 posts of police constable. For this recruitment, the police have extended the last date of application to 12 November 2024. Application has to be done by visiting the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission website.

For recruitment to the post of Police Constable, candidates will have to go through a written examination, physical standard test and physical efficiency test, and medical test. The date of the Police Constable Recruitment Examination has not been announced yet.

380 vacancies for women

Out of the 1088 constable vacancies in Himachal Pradesh Police, 708 seats are for men. The remaining 380 seats are for women constables (specialized duty).

The server caused trouble.

The last date to apply for Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment was 31 October 2024. However due to the server being down on the website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, many youths could not apply. After which the youth had demanded to extend the last date of application. The application process for this recruitment started on 4 October.
