
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana from Bhagalpur, Bihar on Monday, February 24, 2025. Under this installment, the government will transfer ₹22,000 crore directly into the bank accounts of 9.8 crore eligible farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.
How to Check Your Name in PM Kisan Beneficiary List?
eKYC is mandatory for all registered farmers under PM-Kisan.
OTP-based eKYC can be done through the PM-Kisan portal.
Farmers can also visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) for biometric-based eKYC.
Farmers can check if they are eligible and included in the beneficiary list online via the official PM-Kisan website.
What is PM-Kisan Yojana?
Launched in 2018 during PM Modi’s first term, PM-Kisan Yojana is a fully government-funded scheme that provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year to landholding farmer families.
How It Works:
- Farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.
- Installments are credited in April-July, August-November, and December-March.
- The money is transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts under the DBT scheme.
