held in a year? NEET UG exam has been conducted once a year till now. No decision has been taken yet regarding the change in this. At the same time, JEE Main exam is held twice a year. Students wishing to be admitted to engineering college take the JEE Main exam 6 times in 3 years. In 2024, about 24 lakh students took the JEE Main exam. The high-level committee constituted to reform NTA has given its recommendations to the Supreme Court. However, NTA has not yet made these recommendations public.
NEET UG Exam Centre: There will be a big change in the exam center
. According to media reports, the committee is considering completely eliminating outsourcing from examinations. Along with this, it has also been recommended to develop Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya as permanent exam centers. At present, there is 1 Navodaya Vidyalaya in every district, while many districts have both Navodaya Vidyalaya and Kendriya Vidyalaya. Apart from this, it has also been suggested to connect other government institutions with it.
NEET UG Exam Pattern: Exam mode may change
According to media reports, the committee has also recommended conducting all the exams in hybrid mode. It is being speculated that in the coming years, NEET UG exam can be conducted in both online and offline mode. It is believed that the exam paper will be availthe able online, while the answers to the questions will have to be filled with a pen on the OMR sheet. This will eliminate the possibility of the question paper being leaked from the entrance or center.
