Munawar Faruqui, during his stand-up comedy, took a dig at the Konkani people and said that they make fools. But seeing the outrage of the people, Munawar Faruqui immediately apologized. He released a video saying that his intention was not to hurt anyone. Munawar also said that this was not a joke but a conversation with the audience. Everyone thought that I was making fun of the Konkani people.”
