Munawar Faruqui Apologies After Getting Slammed For Joke On Konkan People: Munawar Faruqui, who won 'Bigg Boss 17', is once again embroiled in controversy. Munawar Faruqui recently commented on the Konkani people, for which he is now facing outrage. BJP leader Nitesh Rane also expressed his objection to Munawar Faruqui 's comment on the Konkani people and also warned of taking action against him. Seeing the anger of the people, Munawar Faruqui also immediately apologized and said that he did not intend to hurt anyone.
Munawar Faruqui, during his stand-up comedy, took a dig at the Konkani people and said that they make fools. But seeing the outrage of the people, Munawar Faruqui immediately apologized. He released a video saying that his intention was not to hurt anyone. Munawar also said that this was not a joke but a conversation with the audience. 'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui further said in this regard, “A lot of Konkani people live in Taloja. Many of my friends live there and I know that some things went out of context. Everyone thought that I was making fun of the Konkani people.”
Munawar Faruqui did not stop here. Talking about this, he further said, "I did not make fun of the Konkani people. I want to tell everyone that that statement came out of my mouth while talking to the audience. After this, I saw that people were getting angry. As a stand-up comedian, I do not want to hurt anyone. If anyone is hurt, I apologize. Forgive me, Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra."
