Prashant Kishor is going to start his political party Jan Suraj on 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanti. He has been traversing the paths of Bihar for the last two years in preparation for this. Will PK cause more damage to RJD-Mahagathbandhan or will he add to the NDA vote bank?

If you ask RJD people, they will say that there is no question of any break in the 'MY' (Muslim + Yadav) equation. JDU will say in a low voice that Jan Suraj will clean up BJP's account. Will PK not be able to escape caste?

Prashant Kishor is PK for the whole world, a top poll strategist, but for Bihar, he is Prashant Kishor Pandey. His identity is limited to his caste 'Brahmin'. That means he is from the forward society. The population of Brahmins in Bihar is 3.65 percent. If we assess the total forward vote bank, then according to the new caste-based survey, it stops at a number of a little less than 10 percent. Everyone knows that a large section of the forward caste has been associated with BJP. So will the BJP be threatened by Jan Suraj, the question remains unanswered for now but everyone knows that the unity that exists in the forward society will not be there.

Will PK be able to woo Nitish's vote bank?

Nitish's politics has revolved around the Luv Kush equation. Nitish Kumar himself belongs to the Kurmi caste. The total of this equation is about 7 percent. Nitish has also been a special supporter of the extremely backward class, which is about 36 percent of the total population of Bihar. Jan Suraj is an attempt to target a class that is deprived of facilities, does not have employment, is landless, and has to migrate at least once a year. This is the special class, which has benefited a lot from the schemes of the Center. The extremely backward got equal benefits from the schemes run by the Modi government, the effect of which was also seen in the Lok Sabha elections.

Most importantly, will the Yadav Muslims go with PK?

In Bihar, Muslim+Yadav is an equation that has consistently stood with the Lalu Yadav family. Even when Lalu is not in active politics, he still stands with Tejashwi Yadav. The MY equation is about 31 percent of the total population. In his rallies, PK is seen attacking Tejashwi Yadav's education and nepotism and repeatedly mentions the Lalu family's wealth. If Prashant Kishore can truly shift the 'MY' equation, then only will it be a big achievement for him, otherwise his plan to rise from rags to riches will not be very effective.
