2025 Prayagraj Kumbh Mela: The festival of Sanatan culture, Maha Kumbh Mela, is going to start on January 13 this year in Prayagraj. Preparations for this Maha Kumbh are going on in full swing. After 2013, now Maha Kumbh will be held in Prayagraj, which will end on 26 February on the day of Mahashivratri. Kumbh Mela is related to 'Amrit Manthan', but Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati claims that the health of 40 crore Indians is going to be played with in this fair. Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotish Peeth says that the water of Ganga is not even fit for drinking at this time. Now you can understand what is happening. When Jyotish Peeth's Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati was asked about the cleanliness of Ganga, he said, 'The thing is that there is an organization called NGT (The National Green Tribunal). It has been said that the water of Ganga is not even fit for drinking at this time. It has also been said that boards should be put up on the banks of Ganga in Prayag and Kashi stating that the water is not fit for drinking. So now you understand what the situation is.' He further said, 'The government is making preparations to make 40 crore people take bath in this. It is not correcting the flow of Ganga. It is preparing to call 40 crore people to the banks of Ganga and make them take bath in that water and make them drink that water, which an organization called NGT has not considered even fit for drinking.'

Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati further says, 'Here public health is being played with. There is a plan to play with the health of 40 crore people. Why will 40 crore people come here, they will come only to takea  bath. They will bathe in this water. If this is the opinion of NGT about this water, then this is playing with health.' Recently NGT has claimed in its report that the level of pollution in the water of Ganga has increased. According to the report of PTI, pollution in Ganga has increased continuously due to the continuous dumping of untreated sewer water in it. NGT has declared the Uttarakhand government as a 'mute spectator' in this entire matter.
