KVS NVS Teacher Jobs: If you are teaching as a contract teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, then there is important news for you. Union Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary told the Lok Sabha on Monday that there is no provision for regularization of contract teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV). He gave this information in response to a written question asked by Congress MLA Ujjwal Raman Singh.
The Minister of State for Education clarified that contract teachers in KVS and NVS are appointed only on a short-term basis. These appointments are made to temporarily fill the vacant posts due to transfer, retirement, or leave of teachers, so that the teaching process is not affected.
Situation in Uttar Pradesh
At present, there are 19 regular posts of PGT, 516 of TGT, and 439 of PRT in the Kendriya Vidyalayas located in Uttar Pradesh, making a total of 974 regular posts. However, there is no plan to regularize contract teachers as they are appointed to meet temporary needs.
Status of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas
53 posts of PGT and 173 posts of TGT are sanctioned in JNV for classes 6 to 12. A total of 226 regular posts have been created. This arrangement has been made to give priority to the educational interests of the students and to maintain continuity in studies. The government's position on regularization
Jayant Chaudhary also said that the appointment of contract teachers is only a temporary measure and there is no legal provision to regularize them. Its purpose is to ensure the education of students, not to make permanent appointments.
