New Delhi. Sunday was not a good day for Indian cricket. The Indian team playing against Australia had to face not one but two crushing defeats. First, Rohit Sharma's team suffered a humiliating defeat of 10 wickets in the Pink Ball Test. After this, the women's team won the ODI series by defeating Harmanpreet Kaur's brigade by a huge margin of 122 runs. Australia's team, batting first, had set a huge target of 372 runs, in front of which the women's team collapsed at 249 runs.
The women's team, which had come to Australia to play a 3-match Test series, had to face a humiliating defeat in the second consecutive match. After being bowled out for just 100 runs in the first match, the bowlers conceded 371 runs in the second match. Georgia Wall and Alice Perry scored brilliant centuries for Australia and took the team to a big score. In response, the Indian batting was bowled out for just 249 runs. Richa Ghosh, who came to open the innings, scored the highest 54 runs. Jemima Rodrigues was dismissed after scoring 43 runs while captain Harmanpreet Kaur played an innings of 38 runs.

With the second consecutive humiliating defeat in the 3-match ODI series, India's hopes of winning the series have ended. The first match was lost due to the Indian team's batsmen and in the second match the bowlers ruined the team's chances. Star opener Smriti Mandhana could not do anything special in both the matches. This batsman who scored 8 runs in the first ODI scored only 9 runs in the second match.
