India recall its High Commissioner from Canada: Tensions between India and Canada have once again escalated over the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. After the Trudeau government included Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma and other officers posted in Canada on the watch list, India has decided to recall all these diplomats.
We do not trust Canada's security - India.
The Indian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that in the environment of ongoing extremism and violence in Canada, the actions of the Trudeau government have endangered the safety of our diplomats. We have no confidence in the current Canadian government's commitment to ensure their safety. Therefore, the Indian government has decided to recall its High Commissioner and other related diplomats and officials from Canada.
6 diplomats including Canadian High Commissioner expelled
After the decision to recall 6 diplomats including its High Commissioner Sanjay Verma, India has made another attack on Canada. By issuing an order late in the evening, India had issued an order to expel 6 Canadian diplomats posted in Delhi. The names of the 6 Canadian diplomats who have been decided to be expelled are Stewart Ross Wheeler (Acting High Commissioner), Patrick Hebert (Deputy High Commissioner), Mary Catherine Joly (First Secretary), Lan Ross David Trites (First Secretary), Adam James Chuipka (First Secretary) and Paula Orjuela (First Secretary). All these diplomats have been ordered to leave India before midnight on 19 October.
Relationships that have been cold for many years
Let us tell you that the relations between India and Canada have been cold for the last several years. The reason for this is PM Justin Trudeau's appeasement policy. About 7 percent of Indians live in Canada. Among them, the population of Sikhs is about 2 percent. Due to organized voting and quickly mingling with the local people, it has become an influential community there. The big party of Sikhs there is the New Democratic Party, which is led by Jagmeet Singh.
Trudeau forgot the national interest in appeasement!
Most of the leaders associated with this party are pro-Khalistan and openly run anti-India agenda. This party has also played a big role in inciting Khalistani terrorism in India. Sikh accused who commit crimes in India and run away are given shelter by this party. Many times there has been a demand from India to curb these elements. But Trudeau has always ignored this demand in the greed of Sikh votes.
The opportunity came from the murder of Najjar
To woo his vote bank, Trudeau had also visited Amritsar with his family in 2018. But the then Modi government and the state CM Captain Amarinder Singh did not give any importance to Trudeau's visit. After the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada last year, Trudeau got another opportunity to shine in politics.
Absurd allegations leveled against India.
Trudeau accused India of being involved in this murder without completing the investigation. He also pointed fingers at the Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma. India not only vehemently rejected these allegations of Trudeau but also asked him for concrete evidence regarding the incident, but even after one and a half years, the Trudeau government has not been able to provide this evidence.
India hits back at Canada.
Now elections are about to come in Canada once again. In such a situation, the Trudeau government has taken a step further and included Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma and many officers posted in the High Commission in the watch list. Its other meaning is that it can take action against these diplomats at anytime. Therefore, India not only expressed strong displeasure by calling the Canadian Embassy Charge d'Affaires posted in Delhi this evening, but also announced to call back many of its diplomats posted in Canada within a few hours. Along with this, India has made it clear that if Canada wants to take this war to the next level, then it is ready for it and will strongly counterattack the Trudeau government.
