GATE 2025 Registration: If you have applied to pursue postgraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), then there is important news for you. IIT Roorkee has started the facility of making corrections in the application for the GATE 2025 exam. Interested candidates can complete this process by visiting the official website of GATE 2025 gate2025.iitr.ac.in to make changes to their information.

The application fee for GATE 2025 varies as per the category. Female candidates, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Divyang candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 900, while all other categories, including foreign nationals, will have to pay a fee of Rs 1800.

This year the last date to apply for GATE 2025 was fixed as October 3 and applications could be made till October 7 with a late fee. The registration fee was increased for late applying candidates, with the fee being Rs 1400 for female, SC, ST, and Divyang categories and Rs 2300 for all others.

GATE is a national-level exam that tests the understanding of students in various graduate subjects of Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities. In the year 2025, this exam is being organized by IIT Roorkee and it will be held in February as a Computer Based Test (CBT). Mock test links are also provided to help the candidates prepare so that they can get familiar with the pattern and format of the exam.

GATE 2025 admit cards are expected to be released in January, and the exam dates are scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
