On Sunday, September 29, i.e. the third day of the Test match, the rain will continue. There is a possibility of rain at the time of the match starting in the morning on that day as well. In such a situation, a large part of this match will certainly be lost to rain and bad weather, due to which the chances of a result will decrease. While Bangladesh will benefit from this, because it can avoid a clean sweep, Team India may have to suffer the consequences.

At present, the team's point percentage is 71.67, but if this match is drawn due to rain, then both teams will get 4-4 points. In such a situation, the team's points will decrease to 68.18 percent. This can affect the race for the final. Team India needs to win at least half of its remaining matches to reach the final for the third consecutive time.

Before this series, India had 10 test matches left, in which it needed to win at least 5 matches. It has won one of these against Bangladesh.
