New Delhi . The fourth Test between India and Australia started on 26 December. 19-year-old Sam Constas made his debut for Australia in this match. He made a memorable debut in the 'Boxing Day' Test and scored a half-century against India by fearlessly facing the balls of the current great fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah.

At the MCG, 19-year-old Konstas made the kind of impact on his debut that the Australian team management wanted from him. Konstas scored 60 runs in 65 balls, which included 2 sixes in Bumrah's spell. This young Australian said, "I think maybe 20-30 years ago people probably used to say 'defend' a lot and almost all day. But I think the new generation has new shots.

He said, "This is definitely an exciting innings for me. I like to put pressure on the bowlers. Hopefully it will benefit in the next innings." Earlier in the year, Konstas played the World Cup final of this age group against India's Under-19 team in which he was out on zero.

But the most important thing was facing Bumrah's bowling. He said, "Of course I had already thought about it, especially in terms of speed. But I was trying to stay comfortable. Today I played some shots."
