New Delhi: Actress Nayanthara of the film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' has openly clashed with its producer Dhanush. She has created a stir by writing an open letter to Dhanush. Actually, the actress has revealed that Dhanush has sued her for Rs 10 crore for using a three-second BTS video from 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan', which the public can watch for free.

The viral video is from the 2016 Filmfare Awards. Nayanthara was then awarded the Best Actress award. While receiving the award, the actress had told that Dhanush had given a review of her performance. The actress had apologized that she could not perform as Dhanush expected.

The actress told in an open letter written to Dhanush that she had been following Dhanush for the last two years to get permission to use the footage of 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in the documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale'. However, Dhanush denied her request. When the actress's team used a 3-second long BTS video of the film's shoot, Dhanush sued them for Rs 10 crore.

According to the report, the actress further wrote to Dhanush, 'This is your lowest level which tells a lot about your character. If you can be even half of what you show yourself to the fans on stage, it will be a great thing. But, you do not practice what you preach. At least it is not so for me and my partner.'
