DSP Thana Vivek Kumar Sharma said that 4 people including a woman have been arrested from a hotel located near Sardarganj Chowk on NH 28 in Dalsinghsarai city of Samastipur. These people are drug dealers and 31.705 kg of ganja has been recovered from them, which is estimated to be worth Rs 10 lakh. The woman was in a room with her husband while two other men were in the other room. A raid was conducted based on information and 4 smugglers have been arrested while recovering ganja in the presence of a magistrate.

Secret information was received, so they were taken out of the rooms and questioned.
In this regard, DSP Vivek Kumar Sharma said that during the raid and search based on secret information, the police took out a woman and a man from two different rooms and two men from another room and questioned them. During this, the bag kept in their room was searched in the presence of a magistrate, and ganja was found in two different bags. After interrogating all of them, it was found that they were identified as Sapan Kurmi and his wife Dolly De, residents of Hilli Balaghat of the Hilli police station area of ​​South Dinajpur district of West Bengal state. Both of them had brought ganja from Bengal, which they were going to Vaishali to supply.

Ganja was to be taken to Vaishali, but the police caught it before it could reach.
DSP Vivek Kumar Sharma said that due to some delay in going to Vaishali, all of them stayed in a hotel. The two youths who were arrested from the second room of the hotel were buyers of ganja. These two have been identified as Sujeet Kumar, son of Krishna Mohan Rai, resident of Panapur Sukhanand, Vidupur police station area of ​​Vaishali district, and Shivchandra Giri, son of late Rajnarayan Giri, resident of Bihajadi, Desari police station area. After taking necessary action, all the four smugglers including the woman have been sent to judicial custody on the orders of the court.
