Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released recruitment for more than 2 thousand posts of Assistant Professors for various subjects. The application process for this recruitment will start on August 7. All the candidates who are interested in this recruitment must know about its selection process and exam pattern. 

What is the selection process, exam pattern 

Candidates can understand the selection process and exam pattern by following the below-given steps. 

• The selection process comprises of Screening Test, Subject Knowledge Test, and Interview/ Viva-voce. 
• The screening test consists of 100 MCQs and the time duration is 2 hours. 
• The medium of the exam varies by subject, including bilingual options for many subjects.
• The total marks are 100 and all questions will carry equal marks. 
• Each question will have five options (A, B, C, D, and E). 
• One-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. 
• The duration of the subject knowledge test is 3 hours and the total marks are 150. 
• The weightage of the interview will be 12.5%. 
• The first merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of the subject knowledge test and interview/viva voce.

When will the applications start

The application process for this recruitment will start from 7th August 2024 i.e. candidates will be able to apply for this recruitment from this date. At the same time, the last date for the candidates to apply for this recruitment is 27th August 2024, interested and eligible candidates should apply by this date.
