New Delhi. When Yashasvi Jaiswal was at his peak in the Perth Test, he was telling Mitchell Starc that his ball no longer has the life for which he is known. Starc has given this answer by not only ripping apart Jaiswal but the entire Indian team. Mitchell Starc not only dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal but also KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Nitish Reddy, R Ashwin, and Harshit Rana in the Adelaide Test. His bowling was praised wholeheartedly by the greats. Matthew Hayden even called Mitchell the magician of the pink ball.
The second test match between India and Australia started on Friday. On the first day of the match, Australia bowled out India for 180 runs. After this, they scored 86 runs for the loss of one wicket. In this way, Australia is now only 94 runs behind India's score and it has 9 wickets left. After the first day's play, Matthew Hayden praised Mitchell Starc.
Matthew Hayden said, 'I have never seen the pink ball swing like Mitchell Starc did around the 40th over. When he is in his rhythm, he bowls like this. He is the magician of the pink ball.' Let us tell you that Mitchell Starc dismissed Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshit Rana on consecutive balls in the 39th over. Both the balls were of yorker length and came in with swing, to which the batsmen had no answer.
Matthew Hayden said, 'To be honest, Australia bowled in two halves. For the first 20 overs, they bowled in a very traditional style, as if they knew the ball would swing after that. After this, when Boland came, the ball had started moving. From around the 35th over, we saw Mitchell Starc's missiles. The 45th over was going on, it was close to the 50th and the ball was swinging. Australia probably had an idea of this and that is why it made a strong comeback.
