Gopalganj. Bihar's Gopalganj police has solved the unsolved mystery of the girl's murder within three days and arrested the accused father-son. The reason for the murder has been revealed to be honor killing. The deceased girl was Kalpana Kumari, daughter of Harischandra Yadav, resident of Bathwari village of Navalpur police station in Bagaha district. The arrested accused are Harischandra Yadav and his son Vicky Yadav. Sadar SDPO Pranjal Tripathi made a sensational disclosure of the murder and said that the girl used to talk to a boy. The family was against it.

The SDPO said that, because the girl was talking to the boy, she was sent to her maternal uncle's house in the Mufassil police station area of ​​Bettiah district. Even after coming to her maternal uncle's house, the girl kept talking to her friend and her father and brother came to know about it. On the night of January 2, as per the plan, the girl's father and brother reached her maternal uncle's house and called Kalpana Kumari to the cowshed at midnight, where her father and brother along with three people strangled her to death. After the murder, the body was thrown from the Mangalpur bridge of Jadopur police station area near the Gandak river on a bike in the night itself. The police recovered the body on the morning of January 3.

Police registered the first case of the year 1/25 in Jadopur police station. It has been registered under section 103(1)/238/3(5) of BNS. SP Awadhesh Dixit took the murder case seriously and formed an SIT under the leadership of SDPO Sadar Pranjal Tripathi, which included Jadopur SHO Mohan Kumar Nirala and a team from the technical cell. Police recovered the slippers of a man from the crime scene, who was the boy's father. The culprits were identified through technical investigation and the police arrested two accused, the girl's father and brother.

Let us tell you that the body of the girl was found on the banks of Gandak river under Mangalpur bridge of Jadopur police station. The girl wearing salwar suit had a deep wound mark on her neck, which made it clear to the police that she was murdered by strangulation. Police considered it as an unidentified body and got the post-mortem done and started investigation. Police contacted nearby police stations, but no case related to the girl's disappearance was registered anywhere, due to which the police got troubled, but later with the help of the technical team, they reached the murderer and solved the mystery of the unsolved murder.

SDPO Pranjal Tripathi said that the police has solved the murder case within 72 hours. The police team has done a good job in a short time, so a recommendation will be made to reward the police team included in the SIT. Also, the police has sufficient evidence in this case, on the basis of which the charge sheet will be submitted soon, so that the accused can be given the harshest punishment by conducting a speedy trial. At the same time, the police team is conducting raids in search of the third absconding accused, he will also be arrested soon.
