New Delhi. Gold and silver have become expensive in the Indian bullion market today, October 14, 2024. The price of gold in Delhi's bullion market increased by Rs 200 to an all-time high of Rs 78,700 per 10 grams. Earlier on October 7, the price of gold had reached a record Rs 78,700 per 10 grams. However, gold declined at the global level.

According to the All India Sarafa Association, gold closed at Rs 78,500 per 10 grams on Friday. Apart from this, gold of 99.5 percent purity rose by Rs 600 to its all-time high of Rs 78,300 per 10 grams. Earlier it closed at Rs 78,100 per 10 grams.

How much did silver reach today?
Silver rose by Rs 500 to Rs 93,500 per kg due to fresh industrial demand. In the previous close, it closed at Rs 93,000 per kg. Traders said that despite the weak trend abroad, the precious metal rose in the domestic market, mainly due to increased demand from jewelers.

The decline in the price of gold in foreign markets:
Globally, Comex gold futures fell 0.25 percent to $ 2,669.50 an ounce. Silver fell 1.17 percent to $ 31.39 an ounce in Asian markets.
