GATE 2025 Registration Start Date

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Roorkee has opened the link for GATE Registration today, 28 August. Candidates will be able to apply till 7 October with a late fee.

Candidates should fill out the application form as soon as possible, because considering the number of last year, more than 8 lakh candidates are expected to register for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. In such a situation, apply before any technical problem arises on the portal.

GATE 2025 Exam Date

IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Over 6.5 lakh students appeared for the exam last year and out of the total 30 GATE branches, Computer Science and Information Technology had the highest number of candidates.

GATE 2025 Registration Process via GOAPS

  • Visit the official website of GATE 2025- gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
  • Now, click on the GOAPS link and register/log yourself through the asked details.
  • Through the credentials generated, log in and access the GOAPS portal.
  • Fill out the GATE 2025 Registration Form.
  • Upload the documents in the prescribed format and pay the GATE 2025 Registration Fees.
  • Submit the application form and download the form and take a printout of it.

The GATE 2025 exam consists of multiple-choice and numerical answer-type questions, candidates get 3 hours to finish the exam. It will be conducted for 30 subjects including CSE, EE, EC, ME, and Data Science (DA). The GATE score is used for MTech admissions in IITs, NITs, and other top government colleges.
