New Delhi. The Indian team will tour Australia in November, playing a 5 match test series with the host team. This series will be played under the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Team India will play a 3-match test series against New Zealand at home before this. India recently clean-swept Bangladesh in the 2-match test series. Former Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin says that the way the Indian team won the Kanpur test with a very aggressive attitude, and that it can repeat the same performance on the Australia tour.

India swept the two-match series by winning this Test with explosive batting and aggressive bowling despite only one play session in the first three days. Brad Haddin praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma for playing the Test match in this style. Haddin said on the 'LISTNR' podcast, "He created an opportunity to win the match. While batting, he was not keeping in mind how many runs he had to score. His focus was on the time needed to get Bangladesh out."

He said, 'The Indian team played great cricket, it was about giving the team time to win. I would like to congratulate Rohit Sharma and the members of the coaching team for this performance.' After bowling out Bangladesh for 233 runs in the first innings, Indian batsmen made the record for the fastest 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 in Test cricket. After declaring the innings at 285 runs for nine wickets in just 34.4 overs, India dismissed Bangladesh cheaply in the second innings and achieved the target of 95 runs for victory by losing three wickets.

Haddin said, 'Rohit is such a player. For him, winning comes first and everything else comes later and the Indian team played with the same passion and created an opportunity for themselves to win the Test match. I liked this style of their cricket.' When Haddin was asked if India could do the same against Australia, he said, 'I really believe so. If you look at this result (against Bangladesh), the worst result for India would have been a draw. India had no fear of losing the match. Rohit had nothing to lose. It was so good to see this. This is a great way to win Test cricket.' The Indian team has won the Test series on both its previous tours of Australia.
