Chandigarh: Legendary singer Gurdas Maan, who has earned recognition for his singing talent not only in Punjab but in the entire country and the world, has turned 68 today. Today, i.e. on 4th January, he celebrated his birthday. Like every time, this time also this special day was dedicated to his fans. People from not only Punjab, Haryana, Himachal but also from abroad reached Gurdas Maan's mansion in Sector 33, Chandigarh to wish their favourite singer on his birthday.

Born on 4 January 1957, Gurdas Maan won the hearts of the people of the entire country for the first time in 1980 after singing 'Dil Da Maal' on Doordarshan. Since then, more than 300 of his songs have been released. Fans of Gurdas Maan, the only Punjabi singer to win a National Award, hold him in high esteem. Gurdas Maan's journey has been amazing, having given excellent performances from Gidderbaha, Punjab to Royal Albert Hall, London.

The famous singer spent 6 hours with his fans
on this special day, some reached from Muktsar at night and some came from Shimla in the morning outside his house with a bouquet in their hands. Gurdas Maan was also stuck among his fans for more than 6 hours from morning till evening and clicked photos with everyone and took their wishes. On this occasion, in an exclusive conversation with News 18, he said that it is the blessings and love of these fans that have brought him here today.

During this time, a family had come from Paris and was very happy to meet Gurdas Maan. Similarly, people from Shimla, Abohar and Muktsar Sahib were standing in a queue with bouquets in their hands. In his conversation, he also talked about his meeting with Amitabh Bachchan in KBC and the show and said, 'I was a little nervous in front of him but he is a very classy person. Although I have not seen that telecast yet because I was busy but people told me that it was a very good show.

Let us tell you that in the KBC show, Gurdas Maan played his song written on a bicycle to Amitabh Bachchan, after hearing which Amitabh Bachchan was surprised. Amitabh Bachchan asked him to write this song in Hindi. Let us tell you that till late evening there was a crowd of fans at his house.
