New Delhi. The Indian cricket team is to play a Test series against Bangladesh from 19 September. The team has been announced for the two-match series. Many players playing in the Duleep Trophy were given a place in the team by the selectors while some players failed in it. The players who have been selected to play against Bangladesh include the names of many stars including Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant. The amazing thing is that all of them have been released from the Duleep Trophy but Sarfaraz Khan's name is out of the list.

The second round of Duleep Trophy matches are going to start from 12th September. In the four-day match, India A will face India D. Whereas India B will play against India C. There have been many changes in the team that played in the first match after the team selected for the Test series against Bangladesh. The players who have got a place in the Indian team have been kept out of the Duleep Trophy except for one player. Yes, Sarfaraz Khan's name has been included in the Test team but he has not been released from the Duleep Trophy.

Sarfraz will have to play Duleep Trophy, others will be rested.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj, Akash Deep, and Yash Dayal, who played the first match of Duleep Trophy, have been given place in the Test team along with Sarfaraz Khan. Out of these, Sarfaraz is the only player who has not been released for the second match of the Duleep Trophy. Apart from him, all the names included in the Test team have been given rest before the first match to be played against Bangladesh on 19 September.

Why did this happen with Sarfaraz Khan

Sarfaraz Khan has been named in the India B team for the second match of the Duleep Trophy. He has not been released, which makes it clear that he will not play in the first Test match against Bangladesh. The second match of the Duleep Trophy is to be played in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh from 12 to 15 September. The Indian team will play the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai. If reports are to be believed, KL Rahul will be given a place in the playing eleven in place of Sarfaraz Khan. By giving him a place in the Duleep Trophy team, BCCI has confirmed this.
