The flyover connecting Apsara Border to Anand Vihar was inaugurated and dedicated to the public. This will provide a lot of convenience to the common people.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi inaugurated a 6-lane flyover connecting Apsara Border to Anand Vihar in the eastern part of the city on Wednesday. On this occasion, she said that about 1.5 lakh people will benefit from this every day. CM Atishi said that after the opening of this flyover, there will be no need to stop at three red lights. This means that people will now be able to drive their vehicles fast on the roads.
Freedom from three red lights
Chief Minister Atishi has expressed happiness on inaugurating the flyover. She said, 'I am very happy to inaugurate this flyover today. For the last two years, I was continuously monitoring this project. I congratulate the people of Delhi.' The Chief Minister said, ‘When people pass through this flyover, they will not need to stop at three red lights and travel time will be saved by about 12 minutes. About 1.5 lakh people will benefit from this flyover every day.’
Saving of petrol and diesel too
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena has also spoken big on saving of petrol and diesel on this occasion. She said that this will save about 40,300 liters of petrol and diesel every day, carbon emissions will be reduced by 1.5 tonnes and the public will save Rs 138 crore. The six-lane 1,440 meter long flyover on road number 56 between Anand Vihar and Apsara Border will improve connectivity in the surrounding areas.
