CUET PG 2025 Registration: If you are thinking of pursuing a master's degree from a central university, then you will have to clear the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 exam. For this, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for CUET PG 2025. Changes this year: What's new?
This year, the official website of CUET PG has been changed to exam.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG. The syllabus, exam pattern, eligibility criteria, list of participating universities and frequently asked questions are available on this website.
Registration fee hike
The application fee has been increased for candidates of all categories. General category candidates will now have to pay Rs 1,400 while OBC-NCL and General-EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 1,200. The fee for SC/ST/Third Gender category is Rs 1,100 and for PwBD candidates it is Rs 1,000. Candidates willing to take additional test papers will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 600 per paper.

Reduction in exam cities in India
The number of CUET PG 2025 exam centres in India has been reduced to 285 from 300 last year. However, the number of exam centres at the international level remains at 312. This time candidates can select up to four preferred cities based on their permanent or current address, while only two options were available last year.
Change in exam duration
This time the exam duration has been reduced from 105 minutes to 90 minutes compared to last year. Candidates will be given this time to answer 75 multiple choice questions. A total of 157 subjects are available in CUET PG 2025, based on which candidates can choose their preference.
