
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited feedback from students, parents, teachers, and schools on its proposal to introduce two board exams for Class 10 starting from the 2025-26 academic session.
Deadline for feedback submission: March 9, 2025
CBSE has posted a Google Form on its website, where stakeholders can share their opinions on the proposed policy. After reviewing the responses, the board will finalize the plan.
Why is CBSE Proposing Two Class 10 Exams?
Based on National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 recommendations.
Gives students a second chance to improve their scores.
Reduces academic pressure by allowing flexibility.
As per CBSE’s statement, the draft policy was formulated after wide-ranging discussions, including a meeting at the Ministry of Education, where it was decided that Class 10 students should be given two opportunities to appear for board exams.

Click on the Google Form link (available on the CBSE official website).
Enter your email ID.
Identify yourself by selecting one of these options:
Principal
Teacher
Parent
Student
School Management
Other
Select your gender (Male, Female, Prefer not to say).
Answer: "Do you agree with the draft policy?" (Yes/No).
(Optional) Share your detailed views on the policy.
(Optional) Provide additional suggestions for improvement.
Submit your response before March 9, 2025.
What’s Next?
CBSE will review the collected responses.
The final policy will be announced after scrutiny and necessary modifications.
If implemented, the new system will take effect from the 2026 board exams.
