Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway has invited applications for recruitment to several posts of apprentices in various trades. However, the application process for these posts has not started yet. Once started, candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website.
when are the applications starting
According to the details received from the notification, the registration process for these posts will start on August 16. Interested candidates should apply on or before 16 September 2024, which is the last date for this.
How many posts are to be recruited
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,096 vacant posts of apprentices in various divisions/units and workshops. It includes -
- Lucknow (LKO) – 1607 Posts
- Ambala (UMB) – 494 Posts
- C&W POH W/S Jagadhri Yamuna Nagar – 420 Posts
- Moradabad MB – 16 Posts
- Delhi DLI – 919 Posts
- Ferozepur – 459 Posts
- CWM/ASR – 125 Posts
- NHRQ/NDLS P Branch – 134 Posts
What is the selection process?
The candidates will be selected based on merit prepared by taking the average of percentage marks obtained by the candidate in Matriculation/SSC/10th (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination, both giving equal age weightage.
The merit list will be released in November 2024. The exact date of release of the result will be announced in due course.

- Now, Click on Candidate Registration
- Provide all the basic details to register yourself
- After successful registration, proceed with the application form
- Now upload the documents, pay the application fee, and submit
- At last, take a printout of the application form for future reference
