Patna. The effect of change in Bihar's police department is now visible. Police action has started as soon as the new DGP of Bihar Vinay Kumar has arrived. Vinay Kumar is working according to his old working style. Vinay Kumar has first started a campaign to 'bind' the corrupt police officers of Bihar. In this episode, cases have started being registered against many station in-charges, sub-inspectors and inspectors of Bihar. The effect of the whip of new DGP Vinay Kumar was first seen in Motihari and then in Muzaffarpur. The SSP of Muzaffarpur has ordered to register an FIR against 134 police officers of the district. These policemen made the criminal files disappear during deployment and took the police diary with them.

Let us tell you that this has started or is going to start not only in Muzaffarpur but in all the districts of Bihar. On the day of his taking charge, the DGP while talking to the media had made it clear that action will be taken against careless police officers, be it SP, SSP, DIG, IG. Perhaps, this kind of action has started against the police after many years in Bihar. 134 police officers of Muzaffarpur are accused of suppressing the files of 943 criminal cases of the district. Most of these officers took the criminal files with them.

Inspectors are scared of DGP's action
Bihar police has now started digging into years old cases. For disposal of cases DGP is also continuously talking about conducting speedy trial. Recently DGP had made it clear that pending cases in the state will be settled by conducting speedy trial. DGP has asked to take strict action against those police officers of the state who register cases but later change their statements in the court. In such a situation Bihar Police Headquarters has started preparing files of police officers who change their statements in the court. In such a situation it will not be surprising if such officers are identified and punished in the coming days.

How is the police working?
Vinay Kumar was made the new DGP of Bihar last Friday. Vinay Kumar, a 1991 batch IPS officer, took charge last Saturday and within 6 days, Bihar Police seems to have changed. The SP is now roaming around instead of sitting in the office. Rahul Kumar, a resident of Lakhisarai, Bihar, says, 'As soon as Vinay Kumar became the DGP, the SP's car is now visible on the road in Lakhisarai. The police jeep that was earlier not found even with a torchlight, the same jeep is now seen patrolling continuously. Change is visible.'

Let us tell you that the state's DGP Vinay Kumar was also present in the Home Department's PC on Friday and he said a lot about the crime graph. Anyway, after Bihar got a new Director General of Police, various discussions have started about crime control in the entire state. SPs of every district are seen in action. Rapid action is being taken against criminals in Begusarai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger and Darbhanga. During this, attachment warrants are being served, sand mafia, land mafia, coal mafia and examination mafia are being identified.
