In view of the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas war, the improvement in relations between the two superpowers of Asia is a good sign. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is on a visit to China these days. He is in Beijing to participate in the Special Representative level talks. Ajit Doval has met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. During this, an agreement was reached on 6 issues. The biggest achievement of Doval's visit is the agreement on travelling to Kailash Mansarovar without any hindrance. Let us tell you that after the Doklam clash, China has stopped the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. This journey has not been resumed yet for Hindu Shiva devotees. After the talks between Doval and Wang Yi, the possibility of the route of the holy journey opening once again has increased.

NSA Ajit Doval has also met Chinese Vice President Han Zheng. Let us tell you that the Special Representative level talks between India and China were stalled for the last 5 years. After the agreement between the two countries in Doklam, the ice frozen for years in bilateral relations has started melting. The agreement reached on various issues during NSA Ajit Doval's recent Beijing visit is an example of this. NSA Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met on 18 December 2024. During this, there was a wide discussion on the issues on which there was agreement between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Kazan. There has also been positive talks regarding the India-China border. During this, an agreement has been reached between the two sides on 6 issues.

There will be no hindrance in Kailash Mansarovar Yatra now.
There has been a consensus between NSA Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on many issues. Along with other issues, there has also been a consensus on opening the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra for Indian pilgrims. Both sides discussed on further strengthening cross-border movement and cooperation and have agreed to implement it. There has also been a consensus on restarting and promoting pilgrimage to the religious place located in Tibet. Let us tell you that Kailash Mansarovar is located in Tibet area itself. This Yatra has been closed for the last five years, which has now been agreed to be restarted. Apart from this, both the countries have also agreed on increasing cooperation regarding the rivers flowing from each other's country and opening Nathula for border trade.

Doval and Wang Yi have agreed to effectively implement the agreement reached on the border. They have also agreed to take necessary steps to establish peace in the border areas so that the process of bilateral relations and development is not hampered. There has also been agreement on finding a solution to border related issues on the basis of the agreement reached between the two sides in 2005. Along with this, the border situation was assessed and there was also agreement on working to restore trust by improving the management of border issues. Both the countries have agreed to work together to increase diplomatic and military cooperation. Another big decision has been taken in this meeting. Special Representative level talks will be held in India next year.
