Schools closed in Jaipur

In view of Bharat Bandh, orders have been issued to close schools in Jaipur district. Jaipur District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit has issued instructions to the Chief Education Officer in this regard. The orders were issued after receiving feedback from the Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order after the nationwide Bharat Bandh was announced by social organizations.

In view of the Bharat Bandh called on August 21, Jaipur Police Commissioner Shri Biju George Joseph has issued the following advisory regarding law and order and peace in the city.

  1. The shutdown should be peaceful, and no violation of law and order and rules should be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against those who violate the law.
  2. No emergency services should be affected during the shutdown.
  3. Maintain peace, law and traffic system in the city.
  4. A close watch will be kept on social media. Any kind of misleading information should not be spread, and immediate action will be taken against rumors.
  5. Information regarding law and order will be updated from time to time at the police control room and the police station areas will be monitored by activating the information system.
  6. There should not be any damage to government, public and private property.
  7. Be cautious of anti-social and mischievous elements during the peaceful march.

Apart from Jaipur, the administration has also announced to keep schools and colleges closed in Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Jaisalmer, Didwana, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Tonk. At the same time, an order has been issued to keep schools closed in the rural areas of Kota.

Schools, Anganwadi centers will remain closed in Bikaner

After the announcement of nationwide Bharat Bandh, all government and private schools, coaching centers will remain closed in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. Holiday has also been declared in Anganwadi centers and madrasas. District Collector Namrata Vrishni has issued orders in Bikaner.

Educational institutions will remain closed in Dausa

In view of the proposed Bharat Bandh across the country, Dausa District Magistrate Devendra Kumar of Rajasthan has ordered to keep all coaching, libraries, schools, colleges and Anganwadi centers of the district closed. There will be a holiday today in all government and private educational institutions of the district.

Internet services were shut down in many districts

The impact of Bharat Bandh is being seen in many districts of Rajasthan. Internet has been banned to prevent misinformation and rumors on social media. Internet services will be disrupted in Bharatpur district from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday. Internet service will also be closed in Karauli district.
