Lahore: A big change has been seen as soon as Jason Gillespie became the head coach of the Pakistani Test team. The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to use the Cocobura ball in the 7 home Test matches to be played this year in the World Test Championship. Before Cocobura, Duke balls were used in Test matches played in Pakistan.

The series will start with the series against Bangladesh

This change will be implemented in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The series will start on 21 August in Rawalpindi. Apart from this, the three-Test series against England and the two-Test series against West Indies will also be played with Kookaburra balls. The domestic cricket board has the right to choose which ball will be used in the series.
