BPSC 70th Exam Date Change: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has changed the prelims date of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE). Now this exam will be held on 13 and 14 December. Earlier this exam was to be held on 17 November. The commission has cited "unavoidable reasons" behind postponing the exam date. The application process for BPSC 70th Integrated CCE is going on. Candidates who have not yet applied can apply by visiting the official websites of BPSC bpsc.bih.nic.in and onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.

BPSC has informed the District Magistrates that it is necessary to adjust the examination centers, as seven to eight lakh candidates are expected to appear in this examination. Keeping this in mind, the Commission has given instructions to set up an adequate number of examination centers, so that the examination process can be completed smoothly.

Guidelines regarding standards of examination centers
BPSC has set strict standards for examination centers. The commission has emphasized on ensuring that all examination centers are easily accessible by public transport. Special attention will be given to the selection of examination centers that they should be reputed educational institutions and provide proper infrastructure. These must have basic facilities like boundary walls, good lighting, water supply, adequate seating arrangements, and toilets.

Selection process: Assessment and classification
District authorities will have to identify suitable government and private educational institutions (excluding private colleges) by October 18. These institutions will be assessed and graded as “good”, “very good” or “good” based on the quality of facilities.
