BPSC Success Story: It is said that dreams never die and neither does success have a full stop. That is why even if one gets something in life, people still keep working to fulfill their dreams. Such is the story of Amit Kumar of Bihar, who first got a job in a bank. Even after this, he kept preparing to fulfill his dream. By working during the day and studying at night, he secured 51st rank in the 67th examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) and became SDM.

Amit Kumar originally hails from Muzaffarpur in Bihar. He had a dream
of joining the administrative service from the very beginning. He wanted to become an SDM, but there were many challenges on the way. Amit worked in Vijaya Bank in 2007. After this, he also worked in the State Bank of India (SBI). But he was not satisfied with this bank job, his dream was something else. He realized that this job could come in the way of his goal of administrative service, and he left the secure job of the bank.

Amit Kumar did not get succeed in the BPSC exam on the first attempt, but he did not give up. He learned from this defeat and worked hard. After leaving the bank job, he took the 64th exam of BPSC, in which he got 95th rank
and became a probationary officer. But his real goal was still incomplete. He kept focus on his goal and again took the 67th exam of BPSC and got 51st rank. Also fulfilled his dream of becoming an SDM

Balancing job, family, and studies It
was not easy for Amit to balance his bank job and BPSC preparation. He also had family responsibilities, but he never allowed himself to become weak. He had to face fatigue and challenges many times, but he never gave up. He gives the credit for his success to his family, especially his wife, who supported him completely in this journey. While Amit was busy preparing for BPSC, his wife took the entire burden of responsibilities of the family and children.
