The Nepal Cricket Association wrote on 'X' on Monday - 'The Nepal team is visiting the NCA ahead of the preparation series for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2. The two weeks of training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru will improve the skills and strategies of our players. Let's wish them all the best.'

Nepal needs a win

Nepal captain Rohit Paudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sandeep Lamichhane were recently playing in the Global T20 League in Canada. Nepal participated in some practice matches in India before the T20 World Cup played in the USA. The team played against Gujarat and Baroda in Vapi during this period. Nepal's team's target will be to make it to the top four of the League 2 table by December 2026, so that the team can make it to the Cricket World Cup (CWC) qualifiers. Failure to make it to the top four will force the team to play in the CWC Qualifier Playoffs, from where the top four teams will make it to the CWC Qualifier.
