Six members of a family died in a road accident in Pakistan
At least six members of a family were killed and nine others injured when a van fell into a deep gorge in north-western Pakistan, officials said on Friday. The incident took place in the Chupriyal area of Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday. The vehicle carrying 14 members of a family was returning from a wedding ceremony when it lost balance at a dangerous turn in the hilly terrain. At least six members of the family were killed and nine others injured when the van fell into the deep gorge, officials said.
Rescue and medical teams reached the spot and provided first aid to the injured.
