Agra. A woman died during a digital arrest in Agra. This is the first case of death in digital arrest. The woman was called from a fake number, in which she was informed that her daughter had been caught in prostitution. It was also said that 'we are police, transfer one lakh rupees to the number. We will get your daughter out of the case.' The case is of Albatia in Jagdishpura police station area of ​​Agra. Malti Verma was a government teacher. She used to teach at the Government Girls Junior High School of Achhnera. On the afternoon of September 30, Malti Verma received a WhatsApp call on her number. There was a photo of the police on the number. The caller told Malti Verma, 'We are police officers. Your daughter has been caught in a prostitution racket. We are sending a number, transfer one lakh rupees to it. We will get your daughter out of the case.'

Hearing this, Malti Verma panicked and called her son Dipanshu Rajput. She said that I am coming home, you take out one lakh rupees from the bank. I have to transfer the money. After reaching home, the woman told the whole thing to her son. When the son saw the call number, he told his mother that it was a fake call. Both the sisters are safe. One sister is in college, the other has gone to the market but the mother did not get any relief. Then her health deteriorated. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment. She died on the way.

The female teacher died within four hours
of the digital arrest, after which there was chaos in the family. This is the first incident in the country in which someone died during digital arrest. However, now the son has given a written complaint to the police station. Based on the complaint, the police have started an investigation. The numbers from which the calls came are being traced. They have also been put on surveillance. It is claimed that the matter will be revealed as soon as possible.
