Every couple is very happy to become parents. Most of the new parents share this happiness on their social media. Some are so excited for their child that they start getting their photoshoot done. But getting a photoshoot done of a newborn can become a headache. A slight mistake can have a huge impact on the child's health and can also cause problems in the future. 

The baby photoshoot is a risk to life.
Photography is an art but it is risky with newborns. In the report of the scoping review published in the National Library of Medicine, it has been called an epidemic. Nowadays most of the new parents are victims of this epidemic. In this study, the baby photoshoot was said to be dangerous for the spinal cord, joints, nerves, and blood circulation of the child. Such photoshoots can even take the life of the child.  

The froggy pose can break bones.
Froggy pose is very common these days in baby photoshoots. In this, both hands are kept on the baby's cheeks. A newborn cannot balance itself so if a mistake is made in this pose then the baby's mouth may touch the ground and the hands may get a shock. This position can also break the small bones of the baby. Apart from this, there are some hanging poses. In this, the baby is made to sit on a cloth. This is called a hammock pose. In this, the cloth on which the baby is hung is very light. If its knot opens or the baby changes his position then he can even fall down.  

Potato sack pose can reduce bleeding.
In a potato sack, the child is wrapped in a cloth, and hands are kept under the mouth. This pose looks very beautiful but sometimes the child becomes uncomfortable and also affects blood circulation. In this, the child is wrapped in a cloth 3 times. Parents should first check that the first knot is tied tightly so that the child's back and neck get support. After this, wrap the remaining two times. In this, it should be checked repeatedly that there is no pressure on the child's joints and hips. The child should be taken out of the cloth only after 20 to 30 seconds. Similarly, there is a bucket pose in which a child is made to stand in a bucket and the mouth is supported. This too can harm the joints of children. 

Children's neck is delicate.
In some photos, a hand is kept under the child's mouth in such a way that it appears that the child is thinking about something. Sometimes glasses are also tied over their eyes. The neck of the child is very loose. Resting the mouth on the hands can put pressure on their neck and they may not be able to bear the weight. This can break the collarbone of the child along with the neck. The bones of a newborn are very soft, so there are more chances of their fracture or breakage.  

Be careful while taking sibling shots
. Some parents get their newborn baby's elder brother or sister photographed along with them. It is not good to let the newborn baby hold their hands. Children are moody. If the elder child is 2 to 4 years old, they do not understand how to hold the newborn baby. Sometimes they can even let go of the baby in their hands in anger. Therefore, this photo should be clicked only when the sibling is sensible. 

Allergy can occur from pets.
Some people get the newborn photoshoot done with their pets. No matter how much pets love them, they are animals. They can claw and bite the baby. Not only this, there is also a risk of children getting allergies from pets. The ATheimmunity system of a newborn baby is not strong. This world is new for their body. In such a situation, if any bacteria or virus from the pets enters the child's body, it can make them sick. Therefore, the newborn baby should be kept away from pets.  

Get the photoshoot done under the supervision of an expert.
Photographer Sandeep Arora says that the photoshoot of a newborn baby takes place between 5 to 14 days after birth. Some people book this photoshoot even before the birth of the child. Children sleep a lot at this age, so there are more sleepy angles in their photos. Since the newborn is very delicate, this photoshoot takes place under the supervision of an expert, and the child is given support in every pose. This is a very difficult task because the newborn is not a model and neither can they be guided in anything. The photographer has to do this photoshoot with a lot of patience. Some photoshoots also take place under the supervision of medical staff. In this photoshoot, special care is taken that the child's body does not get a shock. Parents should keep in mind that the baby photoshoot should always be done by an expert.
